Biography

Husband of Abigail Emmet

Henry was born about 1774, most likely in New Jersey. His father located to Orange County, New York by 1790.

Residence in 1800 was Warwick, Orange County, New York. He and his wife were both under 26, and had one child.[1]

Residence in 1810 was Orange County, New York.[2]

Residence in 1820 was Orange County, New York.[3]

Some sources claim he passed away in 1847. However, I cannot locate a source record for this. In 1830, he may have been dead, since his possible wife Abigail is listed on the census in Rockland County.[4]

McMurtry-248 and McMurtry-137 appear to represent the same person because: These are clearly the same people - same wife and kids.
