Biography

John McGregor was born about August 1810 in Tomintoul, Kirkmichael, Banffshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, son of Alexander Mcgregor (1778–1857) and Grace Cameron (1778–1870).[1]

John married Mary Sinclair (born in 1815 in Lonmay, Aberdeenshire; daughter of William Sinclair and Christina Bisset).[2]

Together john and Mary had 5 known children: though not all survived to adulthood

  1. Mary McGregor was born on 4 January 1855 in Tyrie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[3]
  2. Mary McGregor (abt. 14 September 1857 – ~1934).[4]
