Biography
Jean Mius was born on July 21st, 1799 to Marie Venerante O'Bird and Joseph Mius, a farmer and resident of Tusket. Jean was baptized on July 22nd 1799 by Father Sigogne. Jean-Baptiste Mius (represented by François Gilis) and Nathalie Mius, Jean's paternal aunt, were godparents [1] The road "Chemin des Gasson" in Amiraults Hill, Yarmouth County was named after his family.
