Biography

Isaac Mohney (recorded as Mahny), along with his twin brother Abraham, was born on 15 Aug 1788 and baptized 8 Oct 1788 in Upper Mount Bethel, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Isaac's godparents were recorded as Isaac Hilliyardt and Margaretha.^[1]

Isaac Mohney was one of the executors of his father's will in 1818.^[2]

Isaac's own will, written 17 Jan 1834, mentioned his "beloved wife Eve" and his children, "Abraham, Valentine, Samuel, Jesse, Mary, Cathaine [sic], Susanna, Peggy Ann," followed by his "son John Mohney," to whom he left only one dollar. He appointed "John Mohney Sr" as executor.^[3]
