I was tracing my family descendants (Schomp) from Readington, NJ tonight and fell upon your absolutely wonderful website. Turns out Joost Schomp II was married to Kniertje Montfort who two generations before Jan (John) Montfort married Ida Joris Brinckerhoff born in 1668 in Flatlands, Long Island NY Colony.
