The parent's of our David Moore (1764-1827) who married Lucretia Davis (1765-1849) was the son of Thomas Moore & Agnes Topp (a red-haired English woman) so wrote her Great Grand-daughter Mary Jane (Moore) Greer on April 13th., 1913. She was a resident of Schuyler County, Illinois when she gave her Moore ancestry to her family. It is possible that the wrong Thomas Moore has been ascribed to our David Moore. This needs some sort of evidence to prove Aunt Mary Jane Greer was wrong concerning the names of her Great Grandparent's.
