1863 Will of William Morgan
William wrote his last will and testament on 17 Oct 1863, and appointed his son, Daniel M Morgan, as executor. He mentions that his youngest son was Benjamin Franklin Morgan, whom he gave an extra $1000 over and above his equal share of the estate. The estate was to be divided equally among his six sons - Christopher C, Blake B, Jesse C, Daniel M, James P, and Benjamin Franklin, and his daughters Sallie Bennett and Josephine Jarrett, and William M (son of Wesley Morgan), and the children of his deceased daughters - Esther Wilhite and Angeline A Bennett. He also left his wife Orra an equal share of his property.[3]
