Hannah was the daughter of Robert and Abigail Moulton. Robert was a ship builder in Salem, building fishing and trading boats.
Early Families of New England show that the children of Robert and Abigail (Goade) Moulton were all born in Salem. It gives Hannah's birthdate as abt 1646. However, Hannah gave a deposition in Essex Co, MA giving her age as 22 in 1672, making her birth 1650. Hannah married Capt. Thomas Flint on 22 May 1666 in Salem [1])[2] Thomas was a farmer and skilled carpenter, who lived on the family homestead near Salem Village (now Danvers). The couple had two children, Abigail born in 1668 and George in 1672.
Hannah died relatively young in Salem, MA on 20 March 1673.[3] After her death, Thomas remarried and the children were raised by his 2nd wife, Mary Dounton.
