I think that with information from Gillian would prove that these two are the same. I propose a merge.

There is no 1860 census attached to the profile, the source is weak. I will check my other tree for an 1860 census and attach to my profile. I am a source person and seeing with my own eyes is believing

Nation-738 and Nations-660 appear to represent the same person because: Clearly the same.

They are not clearly the same. There is 19 years difference in the birthdates and 21 years difference in date of death. Not to mention the last name of Nichols opposed to Roden. So, are they the same?

They could be different. Not enough information on the one profile. Only thing that ties them together is the spouse.

How do we remedy? There are no sources attached, only reference to 1860 census. I'm not sure the profile manager is active.

Hi Linda, are you add specific sources to this profile. The 1860 census that is on George Washington Roden's profile says that Rebecca was born about 1821. Thanks so much!

Nations-660 and Nation-738 are not ready to be merged because: There is a 19 year difference on the date of birth. Nichols was not Rebecca's last name at her death as supported by FAG https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/63913533/rebecca-narcisus-roden

Date of death has a 21 year difference Too much conflicting information to authorize a merge

Nations-661 and Nation-738 appear to represent the same person because: same spouse, child, death

Hi, My name is Glenda McCarty and I just learned that Rebecca Narciss Nations 1820-1895 is an mtDNA match on my maternal line according to Family Tree mtDNA. I'm on a quest to find my maternal great-grandmother. She is believed to be Eliza Griffith 1833/1835-? but since it was her third marriage to my great-grandfather Hardin H Tackett 1818-1903 I do not know her maiden name. Griffith was probably her second husband's surname. Hardin and Eliza were married on 18 October 1876. My grandmother Armilda Jane Tackett was born 23 Dec 1879 and died 25 Dec 1907.
