John William was born in 1843 to John Nettles (Find a Grave Memorial ID# 42110708 ) and Mary (China) Nettles (Find a Grave Memorial ID# 107943085) and he is listed with his parents on the 1850 Census in Sumter, South Carolina.[1]
He was the husband of Elizabeth Olivia (Garner) Nettles and is listed with her on the 1860 Census[2], the 1870 Census[3] and the 1880 Census.[4] He passed away in 1882 at the age of 38 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Greeleyville, Williamsburg County, South Carolina.[5]
John was born in 1837. He passed away in 1882.
