Biography

Early Life

Phillip Peter Neufeld (GMA#113750) was born in 1800. [1] He was the son of Peter Neufeld (GMA#113747) and Katharina Unknown (GMA#113744). [2][3][4][5][6]

Research Notes

Note: Note: In the 1835 Chortitza Colony Census he was listed at Schoenwiese #7 with his father. He apparently moved to Schoenthal, Bergthal Colony with the first settlers of that village about 1837 since he and his family are among a group of Mennonites who expressed a desire to settle in Schoenthal per Odessa Archive, Fond 6, Inventory 1, File 4889.
