Biography

Louise "Mathilda" was born about 1876. She married Wilhelm Paetsch in 1899 in Gretna, Manitoba. They moved to the Jansen district in 1905 to farm. They had seven sons and one daughter. Matilda died the same day as her daughter Lydia was born. Matilda passed away on the farm near Jansen in 1916. She was buried in Esk Lutheran Cemetery, north of Esk, Saskatchewan.
