Maston was born in 1909. He passed away in 1990. Burial was in the Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. [1] His grave is inscribed: "Solicitor General, Albany Judicial Circuit 6 Terms, US Congressman 3 Terms, Never Opposed For Re-election, Lieut. U.S.N. World War II, Loving and Devoted Husband of Mary Charlotte Tyson and Laura Frances McKibben Allen".[2]
