Naboth Osborne was baptised at St.Levan on 10 February 1790. Possibly the Naboth Osborne of St Levan who joined the 4th Royal Cornwall Local Militia in 1809 as a substitute. He was a wheelwright and carpenter by trade when he married Ann Olds on 20 October 1812 at her parish church, St.Buryan, and they had twin daughters born early the next year, and baptised at St.Levan on 19 February 1813. Ann died when quite young and was buried on the day her daughters were baptised, 19 February 1813. Naboth a widower carpenter remarried in 1820. He married Jane Hall, a young widow from St.Just on 21 March 1820 at St.Levan. Naboth and Jane had two children baptised at St.Levan, in 1820 and 1822 and then moved to St.Just-in-Penwith, where several children were baptised, and then Helston, Germoe 1828 and Breage 1830 before returning to St.Just-in-Penwith by 1835 until 1871 and soon after this moved to Mirfield, Yorkshire to be near their sons. Here they resided at Carn Bosavern where theirs was one of 59 homes in the area recorded in the 1851 census. Naboth age 45 in 1841 census , part of Bosaver in St.Just, carpenter, living with Jane 45, John 20, Amelia 15, Elizabth 14, Samuel 13 and Naboth 7. Naboth 1790, born at St.Levan was a carpenter aged 61 in 1851 living in St.Just with Jane 61 from St.Just, Elizabeth 23 from Germal, Samuel 21 Breage, Naboth 16 Breage, and a visitor daughter Amelia Wallis 29 and her children. Naboth was a master carpenter. [d.cert] Their youngest children Elizabeth, Samuel and Naboth were still living at home then and their sister Amelia (now Wallis) was visiting with three of her children on census night 1851. In 1861 he was 71 living there with Jane 71, Samuel 32 a blacksmith, Margaret 21 from St.Just, and William Davey Osborne 8 months. In 1871 the elderly couple were living at St.Just by themselves, before moving to Mirfield, Yorkshire to be near their sons. Naboth and Jane both died at the Knowle Schoolhouse, Mirfield and are buried in Batley Churchyard, Yorkshire.
