Biography

When Andrew Ostrander was born on February 23, 1797, in Chippawa, Ontario, his father, Johannes, was 31 and his mother, Christiana, was 21. He married Sarah Buchner/Boughner in 1821. They had 15 children in 24 years. He died on April 14, 1874, having lived a long life of 77 years.
