John Pemberton Plumptre was son of my ancestor (4th great grandfather), so our family line went down from his sister Emma Maria!
I found John Pemberton Plumptre's plaque, together with those of his father and 14 other Plumptre relatives in St.Mary's Church, Nonington. There is a vault there with all the plaques on the wall above. Fascinating. Only visited 2 days ago, so have yet to sort the photos of the plaques.
John P. Plumptre is a relative of mine. My mother's side of the family has direct relations to him, being Plumptre's themselves. It's really interesting to see what he was up to in his lifetime
