Biography

Rev Henry Western Plumptre was born in 1803, the son of John Plumptre & his wife Charlotte née Pemberton.^[1] He married Eleanor Bridges, daughter of Sir Brook William Bridges, 4th Bt. and Eleanor Foote, on 10 April 1828.^[2] He had seven children with Eleanor Western Plumptre and one other child. He was the Rector at Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, England. He died on 22 April 1863^[3] in Clifton, Gloucestershire, at the age of 59. He was buried in St. Mary's Churchyard, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire.^[4]
