Biography

Reverend Charles Thomas Plumptre was born on 8 November 1799. He was the son of John Plumtree and Charlotte Pemberton. Charles was christened on 13 December 1799 in Nonington, Kent.^[1]

Charles first married Carline Calcroft on 25 May 1825 in Ancaster, Lincoln.

there was a daughter born of this union.^[2]The Marriage Notice was carried by the Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser dated 11 June 1825^[3]

Caroline passed away in 1833 and he then married Elizabeth Wright on 9 April 1835 in Lenton, Nottingham, England; there was a son born of this marriage..^[4] The Marriage Notice was carried in the 11 April 1835 edition of the Leicester Chronicle.^[5]

Charles died in January 1862 at age 62 and is buried in Nonington, Kent.^[6][7][8]
