Biography

Jean Baptiste Poirier was born 19 Jan 1733. He was the son of Joseph Poirier and Madeleine Doiron. He was baptized 5 Apr 1733 at Beaubassin. His godparents were Pierre Doyron and Anne Doyron.[1][2]

He married around 1750 to Marie[sic] Forest, daughter of Francois Forest & Marie-Josephe Girouard.[3]

He was deported to Pennsylvaina.

He passed away 19 Jan of 1823 at the age of 90 and was buried at St. Gregory of Nicolet, in Quebec, two days later.[4]
