Biography

Ambrose Powell, Jr was born about 1841 in Arkansas. He was the son of Ambrose and Nancy Holly Powell. Ambrose served in the Union Army during the Civil War in the Cavalry Regiment: 3 Company: B State/Arm of Service: Ark. Cav. Company/Regiment: B,3 Roll Number: 004. He married Minerva R. Foster in 1865. The 1910 census show them living in Love, Oklahoma. Ambrose died sometime after the 1920 census in Oklahoma.
