Hi Margie, my Harris research is on going and DNA based. My conclusion right now is Granville NC was where one of my Harris ancestors lived. He was SherwoodHarris who m. Jane Hudspeth and his son, John. I find one John Harris 1800 census in Oglethorpe Co GA and this is far as I have gone. Edna Wood
