Catherine Rankin was born in 1886.^[1] She was the daughter of Angus Rankin and Mary McDonald.

She married Joseph George Barry at Moonbah, NSW, in 1915.^[2]

She died Bankstown, NSW, in 1970,^[3] and was buried in the Saint Felix de Valois-Catholic Church Cemetery, Bankstown.^[4]
