change middle name spelling as it is on his son Elmer's marriage license to Rachel dated 24 Dec 1880. I have a true copy of.
Elijah was born in 1835[1]. Elijah Renshaw ... He passed away in 1883. [2]
Elijah was a Farmer and Miller. Elijah and Indiana had 14 children (8 boys, 6 girls).
Elijah and his brother John Perry Renshaw where both in the civil war on the union side. John b. 1831, was married before he went into service too; Elizabeth Carr m. 26 nov 1856 she b. 28 aug 1834. He died in a military hosp. He served in the 120th Inf Illinois, Company E. as a Pvt.
Elijah b. 1835 he went in the civil war service. He served in the 6th Cav Illinois, Company G. as Corpl. married Indiana Virginia Baker m. 22 sep 1860 they lived in Renshaw Illinois and are both buried in Bethany Church Cem in Renshaw, Illinois.
