Biography

David was a Friend (Quaker)

David Reynolds was born on the 1st of March 1727 to William Reynolds and Mary Brown in Chester County, Pennsylvania.[1][2]

Mary and David Reynolds declared their intention to marry on the 1st of May 1756.[3] On the 7th of June 1756 they completed the marriage ceremony.[4]

Land David Reynolds Land Grant 640 Acres 16 May 1787 Guilford, North Carolina. David Reynolds was issued 640 acres of land on 16 May 1787 in Guilford County, located "On the head waters of Allamance and polecat". This was recorded in Land Patent Book 65 page 141 as Guilford County Grant # 1450. The original request for this land was entered on 03 May 1779 and assigned Guilford County Entry # 1548. It took 8 years exactly to issue the grant. [5] Father, William had land on the Polecat. See map

Death David died in North Carolina in 1815. He is buried in the Hopewell Friends Meeting Cemetery in Asheboro.[6]
