Biography

Aeltjen married Jan Andriesz from Grootebroek on May 11 1738 in Andijk. He was born Sept 19 1706 in Grootebroek to Andries Ziewertsz and Geertje Jans. They settled in Grootebroek. Children: Geertje (Aug 31 1738), Geertje (July 9 1740), Reijnder (Nov 25 1742).

There were some other people in Grootebroek at the same time with the patronymic Reijnder. It's possible that Aeltjen was actually working in Andijk but was originally from Grootebroek. In that case, she wouldn't be the daughter of Reijnder Kooiman and Trijn Swagerman. However, there is no baptism record for her in Grootebroek at this time, and the baptism records from this same time are missing in Andijk. It's much more likely that she belongs to this family.
