Biography
Col. Joseph Roberts was born in 1760 in Virginia to William Roberts and Johannah. He married Martha Patsy Hogshead in 1789 in Augusta, Virginia. Children: Mary Ann (Polly), Norman, John, Sarah, William, Ellender, Joanna. He died about 1810 in Knox, Indiana.
