My parents were Edwin Cecil Roberts and Beryl Jean Hodges Roberts, both deceased. Beryl's parents were Bernice Scott and Edward Franklin Hodges, Jr.. Edward's parents were Georgia Lee Wilkerson and Edward Franklin Hodges whose parents were Lydia & Lemuel Hodges. Lemuel's parents were Sarah & J Holowell Hodges (circa 1800s-1850s). I was born in Portsmouth, VA and raised in Chesapeake, VA. I graduated from Va State University in 1980 and EVMS in 1983. Entered the US Army from 1984 to 1992 where I completed my OB/GYN residency. I recently retired from my private practice in Virginia Beach where I live. I have 4 siblings, 2 children from my previous marriage which ended 25 years ago, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. I'm presently gathering information about my family history from all sides to share with the present and future generations. Thanks to any who can assist.
