Edmond Rowland was born in Appalachia, in North Carolina.

Royal Edmond "Edd" Rowland was born May 26, 1894, in Cherokee, North Carolina. [1][2] He was the son of Robert Calvin Rowland and Margaret Adeline Pace.[3]

In the 1910 census Edmund (age about 17) was living in Tomoela, Cherokee, North Carolina, USA. Marital Status: Single. Relation to Head of House: Son.[3]

Ed Roland and Lizzie Bradshaw married July 26, 1913, in Cherokee, North Carolina, United States.[4][5] They lived in Cherokee County.[6][7] Lizzie died January 4, 1930, and Ed continued to live in Cherokee County.[8]

Died 27 September 1959. Murphy, Cherokee?.

He was buried at Rowland Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Marble, Cherokee County, North Carolina, USA.[9]
