Care: Not to be confused with another Cyril Sampson (Dentist) that lived in Perth City.

Born at Farmhouse -" Ellendale" which was sold in 1918. Cyril had rhumatic fever as a child. Had orchard in Chittering Valley, was to big for one person and to small for two people, so moved to try land in Jandakot, this had an old dairy, was near the old railway line, near to where Soltoggios truck parts was, near brickworks area, he ran potty calves, and pigs. however cold, damp conditions and Ill health forced the move to Carlisle, to 74 Bishopsgate St, he then moved to Bedfordale Orchard on Albany Hwy, then to a house at 3051 Albany Hwy, Kelmscott, then to a house at 51 Parkin St, Rockingham, then to Commercial Premises at 44 Penguin Rd, Safety Bay (now heritage listed - this was the first butchers shop in Rockingham), here Cyril established his Shell and Rock Museum. Cyril Died from lung cancer in 1975 in Fremantle Hospital, Western Australia. He is buried at Karrakatta Cemetery.
