Charles Wesley Saunders was born 12 March 1877 in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, to William Saunders and Sophia Lowe.
He married Nellie Louise Watkins, daughter of John David Watkins and Caroline Amanda Saunders Watkins, 9 February 1899, in Key West, Florida. The couple had children Annie Lois Saunders and Charles Mortimer Saunders.
Charles was a grocer and sales manager at Tumley's Wholesale.
Charles Wesley Saunders passed away Christmas Day 1927 at 50 years of age. He was buried in the City Cemetery (Watkins plot).
