Biography

Conrad was born about 1717. He is the son of Johann Henrich Schneider and Anna Weyrich.

Identified by Jones as the son of Johann Henrich Schneider and Anna Weyrich evidently based on the Loonenburg record of his marriage to Susanna Müller on Aug. 24 1741. He cites documents establishing him (and sons [?] Samuel and Johannes ) in Kortz’s militia company in 1767 and as a freeholder in 1763, both in East Camp. Jones cites Conrad’s Columbia Co. will dated Feb. 13 1807, proved June 22 1811. He details 9 children bpt on the east side of the Hudson (p. 898f).
