Daniel Secor was born in 1755. He married Margaret Van Horne, they had two children.
During the Revolutionary War, Daniel Secor was a drummer in the Orange County Militia with Captain Akerson and Colonel Hay. He died on March 21, 1829 and was buried in East Berne, Albany, New York.
