The following analysis can be removed when the confusion is resolved.

Good find on the Center-167... It appears to match pretty well. The only issues I found are: 1) The familysearch link on Center-167 needs to be corrected... It now links to a pedigree that goes through Jonathan Center b. 1685 (brother of our John) and his parents John Center III b. 1660 m. Ruth Todd. -- I believe John is the son of John Center b. 1660 and his first wife Mary who does not appear in the familysearch details for John b. 1660, which is probably why they don't list son John b. 1682. 2) The birth location differs slightly: Boston vs. Chelsea. it appears they are maybe 2 miles apart as the crow flies. -- I'm not sure where the source for Chelsea came from... -- There are three records in familysearch for birth of John Center II b.1682, but two show surname Carter with mother 'Sarah Sarah'. The third has surname Center with mother as 'Sarah' a) Mass Births and Christenings == Carter b) Vital Records Mass. Town Clerk == Carter c) Mass, Town Clerk, Vital and Town Records == Center The irony of this is that they ALL refer to exactly the same original document from Boston that lists surname as "Center":

Center-332 and Center-167 appear to represent the same person because: After discussion with Bob Symons and additional research, I believe these two represent the same person. Same name, exact birth date, death date in same range, same (2nd I believe) wife Ruth Wright, Birth loc differs (Chelsea vs. Boston), but the birth records I have found are from Boston (I have not checked Chelsea records)

Based on Bio for -167: -- father John in both cases -- mother Mary Unkonwn v. Ruth Hunt -- siblings Jonathan, Eleanor, Mehitable, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, Sarah and Ruth all appear in both

Notes about birth I found what appears to be the original birth records in Boston for John Center and John Carter on Ancestry. They are on the same page, a few lines apart. They were both born on 8 Aug 1682. Both lines have "John Son of John (Carter/Center) and Sarah": I also found a 1684 entry in the same reference for Jonathan Center b. 8 Feb 1684 listing parents as John and Mary: (2nd to last line). I believe this is the Jonathan Center listed as brother to John b. 1682, wikitree Center-123 although birth year is off by 1 (says 1685).

I have emailed both Bob and Leslie with more detailed notes and references.

Senter-93 and Center-332 appear to represent the same person because: Birth day matches exactly, location similar.

surname Senter aka Center in Senter-93 Different sources do not seem to conflict: Center-332: familysearch: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LXWS-9MZ which includes 33 sources Senter-93: The Early Settlers of Rowley, Mass I believe I am descended from son John b. 1712/13 Center-331 who is the only child under Center-332 with no spouse or children listed under Senter-93, so there is no conflict there either.
