African-American Resources for Virginia

The Virginia Team covers activity for the US Black Heritage Project in the state of Virginia.

Beginning in September of 2022, the USBH State Teams will take a county by county approach, with each state team focusing on a new county in their state each month (or sometimes remaining in counties that are not yet completed). This page will document the counties focused on in Virginia each month, with a link to the page containing the materials used or generated by the team during the month-long focus period and other African-American resources relating to that specific county.
