Biography
William was born about 1817. He is the son of William Stetson and Jane Anderson. Note: It has not been proven that William Riddle Stetson is the son of William Anderson Stetson although both travelled to the same Kenosha County, WI.
William was married in 1854 to Ellen O'Mealy who was born in Ireland in 1829. They had two children: Julia, b. 1856 and Grovsenor A. Stetson, b. Dec. 1859.
