Isaac Perkins Jun [probably means Junior] ... Joshua Perkins - both of the Parish of St Landry and Terrirory of Orleans are held and firmly bound unto William C. C. Clairborne Govenor of the Territory aforsed [sic] or his succefronds [successors?] in the office in the Penal sum of Two hundred dollars to the true & partital payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs & Co In witness whereof we have here unto set our hands and seals-- The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a marriage is now about to be celebrated between the above bound Isaac Perkins Jun [Junior] and Mary Sweat-- Now if there should be or appears no legal impediment to the above marriage then and in that case the above oblication to be void otherise to remain in full force & virtue in Law -- Done at
