Lt. Jonathan Tarbell Tarbell was born in 15 Sep 1726.^[1] Jonathan, the son of John Tarbel, was baptised on 25 September 1726 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts, United States.^[2][3][4]

Per DAR application Jonathan Tarbell was a Lieutenant serving under Captain George Earl’s Windsor Company in the New Hampshire Militia during the Revolutionary War. He was recruited from what is now Chester, Vermont. ^[5]
