19 Jan 1774: TO BE SOLD, Pursuant to a subsequent Order of the High Court of Chancery, before John Eames Esq; one of the Masters of the said Court, at his Chambers in Symond's lnn, Chancery-lane, London, on THURSDAY the 3rd Day of February next, between Five add Seven o'clock in the Afternoon, the following FREEHOLD ESTATES, late of Mr. Wm. Lott, of Tenterden, deceased;
LOT I. A MESSUAGE or TENEMENT, called BRICKWALL HOUSE, consisting of three large Parlours, handsomely fitted and wainscoted, with Marble Chimney-pieces in two of them, five good Chambers, six lodging Garrets; also a kitchen, good Cellars, Brewhouse, and other Offices, Barn, Stable, Buildings, a Garden walled in and planted with good Fruit Trees, a fore and back Court, a large Bathing house lately built and well with Water, near to which is fine Mineral Spring; and several Pieces of Land, Meadow, Pasture and Hop-ground, containing by Estimation fourteen Acres more or less, with the Appurtenance, in the Town of Tenterden aforesaid, late in the Possession of the Mr, William Lott, and now of his Widow, who will quit at any time.
LOT II. A Messuage, Barn, Stable, Buildings, Closes, Garden. Orchard, and several Pieces or Parcels of Lands, Arabic. Meadow, Pasture, and Wood, containing by Estimation 1/2 acres more or less, with the Appurtenances, in Stockbury and Thurnham, in Kent. Also a finall Messuage and Garden, with the Appurtenances in Stockbury. Also another Messuage or Tenement, with the Barns, Stables, Outhouses, Edifices, Buildings. Gardens, Orchards, yards, Closes, and several Parcels of Land, Arable, Meadow, Pasture, and Wood, containing by Estimation 73 Acres more or less, with the Appurtenances, in Stockbury. The said three last-mentioned Messuages and Lands are let on lease for 15 Years, from Michaelmas 1769, Old Stile, to Thomas Redman, Jun. at the yearly Rent of eighty Pounds.
LOT III. A Messuage, Barn, Stable, Outhouse, Buildings, Gardens, Orchard, Closes, and twelve Parcels of Land, Arable, Meadow, and Pasture, containing 30 Acres more or less, with the Appurtenances, in Biddenden, in Kent, in the Occupation of John Wells, Tenant from Year to Year, at the Rent of Twenty Pounds.
