Maria (Thijs) Verbeek (1822 - 1872)

Maria (Thijs) Verbeek is geboren in Noord-Brabant na 1811

Biography

Maria was born on 29 May 1822 in Leende in the Netherlands. She was the fifth child of Adriaan Thijs and Jacoba Thijs - Swinkels.^[1]

On 9 February 1849 she married Hendrikus Verbeek. The marriage took place in Heeze.^[2] The couple had six children of whom three survived until adulthood:

1. Wilhelmina Verbeek (1850-1853)
2. Jacoba Smulders - Verbeek (1852-1930)
3. Wilhelmus Verbeek (1853-1928)
4. Wilhelmina Verbeek (1856-1879)
5. Adriaan Verbeek (1860-1861)
6. Adriaan Verbeek (1863-1863)

Maria was a farmer.^[3] She passed away on 27 November 1872 in Heeze at the age of 50.^[3]
