Hendrina Thijs (1863 - 1940)

Hendrina Thijs is geboren in Noord-Brabant na 1811

Biography

Hendrina was born on 27 July 1863 in Heeze in the Netherlands as the fourth-born and youngest child of Peter Thijs and Helena Maria Langendonk.^[1]

On 4 February 1888 she married Fried Smulders. The marriage took place in Heeze.^[2] The couple had twelve children, of whom ten survived until adulthood:

4. Wilhelmus Adrianus Smulders (1893-1966)

7. Hendrikus Smulders (1897-1898)
8. Hendrikus Ignatius Smulders (1898-1917)
9. Goverdina Maria van Ballegooijen - Smulders (1900-?)
10. Jana Verbeek - Smulders (1901-1967)
11. Huberta Ignatia Thijs - Smulders (1903-1986)
12. Godefridus Smulders (1905-1905)

Hendrina was a farmer.^[2]

Her husband Fried passed away in 1905, leaving Hendrina a widow.^[3]. Hendrina passed away on 9 August 1940 in Leende at the age of 77.^[4]
