Jebbe (Thijssen) Tijssens (bef. 1645 - aft. 1683)

Biography

Jebbe was born before 1645. Jebbe married Jan Jansen in Grootegast 11 October 1663^[1]. She passed away after 1683 (baptism of youngest child).

Research notes

• Possible parents are Tijs Pieters and Swaentien Fockes, who had the third proclamation before their marriage in Grootegast 10 May 1629. Jebbe's son Jan Jansen had a daughter Swaanje, who could be named after her greatgrandmother Swaentien.
• Another possibility is that Jebbe was baptized in Grootegast as a "half bejaarde dochter" (not as a baby but at an older age). If that's correct, she is the daughter of Thijs Liwens and Anne^[2].
