Thomas Thompson Sr. is part of a Bahamian family.

Biography

Thomas was born circa September 1839 in the Bahamas, probably in Hope Town.[1] He was the son of John "Old Keg" Thompson and Elizabeth Mary Wright Russell.

He married first Eliza Jane Roberts on 15 September 1858 in Hope Town.[2] Thomas became a widower when Eliza died in 1892.[3]

He married second Caroline (Cash) Russell on 26 January 1897 in Monroe County, Florida, in a ceremony performed by B. F. Mason, M. of G.[4]

Thomas died on 3 August 1907 in Monroe County,[5] and he is buried in the Key West City Cemetery.[6]
