I am a retired Australian whose great grandfather John Arscott Tibbs emigrated from Devon in 1849. I am currently researching his mother whom I believe was born Jane Arscott, but I do not when nor where, not to which parents! I know she married my grt grandfather John Tibbs (1790-1846) at St Paul's Exeter in 1815, and apparently died from complications after the birth of John Arscott Tibbs in 1825, and was buried at St Edmund's Exeter. I agree with Wikitree's mission and am quite willing to abide by its nine simple rules. Bernard.

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, please ask!
