Biography

Peter Tijs married Geertien Peters. Children: Weijgher (Wijcher Nov 7 1683). Weijgher was baptized in Zwartsluis although they lived in Schutsloot.

It seems that until 1685 many people in Schutsloot baptized their children in Zwartsluis and after that in Wanneperveen.

Peeter Tiessen was the third last person listed in the 1675 hoofdgeld where there were 2 adults in his home. In the 1694 Zoutgeld Peter Thijsen paid 10 stuivers. He lived right next to Jan Pieters Driessen; Stoffel Leenders lived 5 houses down the other direction. In the 1702 Zoutgeld of Wanneperveen, Pieter Theijse paid 1 guilder 5 stuivers. ^[1]
