Re: The One Name Study posted on this branch of the Torrey line, I have revised to be a Project and is no longer relevant for this platform. Please remove the tag from this profile. Hopefully it will be a stronger resource in the near future for the Torreys when if you like, you can send me notice and I can provide the link which you can use if you see fit. I and my tree is actively involved in Geni which is partnered with Family Tree DNA whose systems are different but perhaps clearer for my purposes? Thank you for your assistance.
I deleted that Study yesterday. lol. It's terrible and I'm doing another project where the Torreys are part of a larger project as a part of Somerset elsewhere.
Well, okay. Do what you will with it. But it needs a lot of help. If you're keeping it here, join it and revise it I guess. I could just go in and delete the body -- I'd prefer to delete it if its going to be derelict under the present condition. Do you want to make it into something useful? Otherwise, get rid of it. Wiki deserves better.
Micajah and Susanna also had a son Joshua, born about 1686 at Weymouth, Mass., died April 28, 1752; a daughter Susanna born October 29, 1686 at Weymouth, Mass., died April 30, 1752, unmarried, and a daughter Mary born March 2, 1681.
Is there some reason we're not incorporating Charlotte Boyd's suggestions about Micajah and Susanna's children. If what Charlotte says is true, these editions would be important for the Torrey Name Study as well as could significantly improve the integrity of the both the line and profile.
Hi Charlotte: I found reference to Joshua. In fact, there are 3 more children, 2 of which don't have profiles. As I don't have any other information other than birth and death I didn't open one as it looks to me like his branch ends here. If you have more information on Joshua, you should do it ... and add his life! I'd be interested to see who he was.
Torrey-258 and Torrey-180 appear to represent the same person because: William and Elizabeth Torrey only had one son named Micajah. This match should not have been rejected.
