She is buried at Old Norwichtown Cemetery, Norwich, New London, CT (Find A Grave)
- "Ezra, born May 18, 1719, and married, Feb. 25, 1746, Esther Clark. They lived in Norwich. He died Sept. 15, 1753, and letters of administration were taken out by his widow Esther, Nov. 6, 1753. After his death she married Jabez son of Nathan and Elizabeth (Tracy) Backus, by whom her oldest son was Oliver Backus, born Jan. 18, 1755. (Hyde, 154.)" (Huntington)
- Erza Lathrop appears to be the first husband of the wife of Jabez Backus, who was the son of Nathaniel ("Nathan") and his second wife Elizabeth (Tracy) Backus. I don't think there's much question these profiles represent the same person. The 1700 birth date is almost certainly an error since her children are shown as born 1707 and 1712, and her husband 1669.
