Thomas was born sometime before his baptism in 1767. He is the son of Joseph Trethewey and Caroline Rickard. He was baptised on 3 August 1767 in St Stephen in Brannel. [1][2]
He married Ann Curra on 23 July 1797 in St Mewan.[3] The banns record that Thomas was from the parish of St Stephen while Ann was from St Stephen. [4] The groom signed his name on the register while the bride signed by mark. The witnesses were John Curra and Joseph Trethewy.[5]
