In 1901 he was single a running a Drapers shop at Victoria Road, Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom. He had two domestic servants[5].
In 1911 he was 64 and still single, a "Fancy Draper" in Ecclesall, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom[6].
Research note
No birth or baptism record has been found but he is evidenced by the 1851 census. It is not likely that the census has an error on his age as the first Edward died in 1847.
