Biography

Elisabetha married John Hottel and had four children: Barbara, Charles, George, and Elizabeth. She died at age 40 years, 3 months, and 14 days, and was buried on December 22, 1726, at Alsheim bei Gronau. Alsheim was a village southwest of Ludwigshafen & Mannheim, west of Heidelberg, northwest of Speyer, and east of Kaiserslautern. The ruins of Gronau Castle are just outside the village of Alsheim---hence "bei Gronau."

Death:

Date: BEF 22 NOV 1727
Place: Alsheim Bei Gronau, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany
On Dec. 22, 1726, a year after her last child was born, Elisabetha died and was buried 22 NOV 1727 at the Reformed Church in Alsheim bei Gronau.[1]

Research Note

Only current evidence for Elisabetha's maiden name is an unsourced Find A Grave Memorial.[2] Unless better evidence can be found, her LNAB should remain Unknown.
Disconnected Johannes Hildenbrandt as Elisabetha's father, pending further research.

Why did you merge this when Dave Rutherford has posted several times he did not find current evidence for the Hildenbrandt addition. I don't think a Find A Grave post is proof unless they provide their source. Just my 2 cents.
Hildenbrandt-29 and Unknown-256759 appear to represent the same person because: Maiden name is unknown. No current evidence for Hildenbrandt name except an unsourced FAG memorial.
