Strijen-8 and Strijen-5 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate

Hi Hans. Not so clear to me, one born in Holland, the other in Belgium. No relatives in common.

Can you please provide more details as to why you think they are the same person?

I was trying to clean up the Strijen genealogie, so I always look for duplicates after the clean up. This one is a little bit of a puzzel. Willem and his daughter Beatrix were both unsourced. Willem's daughter Beatrix is listed in the Project Medlands/Dutch Nobility as wife of RASO [XIII] van Gavre (from Belgium), but of unknown parents. To me it looks like someone tried to attach one the Willem's van Strijen as her father, the best fit would be Willem II. I think the most correct solution is probably disconnect the Willem from Beatrix and have him merged, as my impression is that its a duplicate. But I don't mind if the merge get rejected either as you can make a case for it to be 2 different people. Just let me know what you would like to do.
